State Requirements
Below is a list of continuing education requirements for Kansas and Missouri. This information is subject to change without notice.
Kansas
- 12 hours every two years for Property/Casualty (this includes a 1 hour Ethics requirement)
- 12 hours every two years for Life/Health licenses (this includes a 1 hour Ethics requirement)
- Any extra "ethics" hours can be used as "general" hours as long as they are not duplicates.
- Kansas does not allow for "carryover" of extra hours.
- Flood: Producers who sell Flood insurance must complete a one-time 3-hour course on NFIP Flood Insurance. This is a one-time requirement.
- Partnership Program Long Term Care: Producers who participate in the sale of Partnership Program Long Term Care policies must complete a 4-hour course before 7/1/10. Renewals require completion of a 1-hour course on Partnership Program Long Term Care every biennium.

Missouri
- 16 hours every two years for licensed Producers (this must include 3 hours of Ethics)
- 8 hours every two years for Title Producers
- Any extra "ethics" hours can be used as "general" hours as long as they are not duplicates.
- Courses must be in license type held (if licensed in L/H and P/C, any course is allowed).
- Excess hours may be carried over to the next renewal period.
- Flood: Producers who sell Flood insurance must complete a one-time 3-hour course on NFIP Flood Insurance. This is a one-time requirement.
- Partnership Program Long Term Care: Producers who participate in the sale of Partnership Program Long Term Care policies must complete an 8-hour course initially. Renewals require completion of a 4-hour course on Partnership Program Long Term Care every biennium.

Missouri & Kansas Licensing Requirements
There is no requirement in either state that you take a pre-licensing course before taking the exam. C.E. Solutions provides courses developed from the outlines of the Missouri & Kansas Life/Health Examination Content. These courses are also approved for Continuing Education for those who already have their license … but in class, we focus on those preparing for the exam.
